New Wonder Woman Trailer Focuses on Diana’s Journey from Girl to Warrior!

New trailer for Wonder Woman released!

With less than three months remaining before Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman rolls into theaters, Warner Bros. has launched a brand new trailer for the movie.

Yesterday, the studio announced the arrival of the new Wonder Woman trailer with three preview clips that ran for a total of around 45 seconds. The trailer features everything in the clips, as well as new footage that focuses on Diana Prince’s journey from little girl to Amazon Warrior. But if you expected to get your first look at Ares, the movie's big baddie, the sad news is that there is still no sign of the God of War.

Right at the beginning, we’re introduced to young Diana Prince (Emily Carey), as she learns about the origins of the Amazons from her mother, Connie Nielsen's Queen Hippolyta. We then see an older version of Diana (Gal Gadot) training hard with General Antiope (Robin Wright), who’s been instructed by her sister in the following manner:

You will train her harder than any Amazon before her, five times harder, ten times harder, until she is better than even you. But she must never know the truth about what she is.

We don’t see much of  General Erich Ludendorff (Danny Huston) or Maru, aka Doctor Poison (Elena Anaya), in the trailer. Of course, the two villainous characters did appear in the previous trailers. Maybe it would have been unwise to give away more - the last thing Warner Bros. wants is to repeat the mistakes they made in marketing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Check out the new Wonder Woman trailer below!

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers"¦and her true destiny.
