New Shazam! Photo and Leaked Footage!

Shazam!'s first trailer is almost here, even if nobody believed that the movie will be made! And, after the first look at the titular superhero, it is clear what kind of film this is going to be.

The audiences caught a glimpse of a different DCEU back when Wonder Woman was released. And it was a shared universe that wasn't as bleak and as convoluted as in previous flicks. Shazam! will continue introducing colour and comedy into the DCEU.

Check out a second official pic from the film below!

Yes, this does look like a kid imbued with superheroes and inhabiting the body of a full-grown man! And when the trailer arrives, it will be even more obvious! How do we know this? Leaked footage from a Shazam! featurette found its way online!

The footage was presented at the Odessa Film Festival in the Ukraine, which explains why it isn't in English. However, from the glimpses we can catch, it is clear that it will be a very fun movie! Check them out below!

It wasn't announced officially that the Shazam! trailer will be released at the San Diego Comic Con. However, in a now deleted Instagram post, cinematographer Maxime Alexandre told the fans that a clip will debut on the 21st.

Qe can only assume that the cinematographer ruined a surprise of the studio, given how fast he deleted the post. On the other hand, maybe he was in the wrong – but we hope he knows something!

We’ll get at least one DCEU trailer at this year’s SDCC (Aquaman). Shazam!’s would be the cherry on top!

Opening next year! (IMDB)

Shazam! arrives on the 5th of April 2019.
