The new trailer won’t be released until spring (according to rumor), but there are plenty of other ways to promote Zack Snyder's Justice League. And the best way is to show pics from the actual movie - and this is what we have today. Thanks to Batman News, we now have a new look at five Justice League superheroes - Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman.
Since we don't see Superman anywhere, we can assume that this is a shot from the beginning of the film, when the superheroes investigate the Parademon sightings (we’re also wondering how much screen time the Man of Steel will have). Check it out below:
Of course, while the shot looks glorious, it seems a bit weird for them all to be aligned like that, without any concern as to who might see them.
As far as Wonder Woman is concerned, Zack Snyder commented that her first solo flick (which is due on the 2nd of June and which he’s producing) will help her come to terms with how humanity works:
Humanity isn't always the most kind and awesome thing. It has its moments, but it can be brutal, and her coming to terms with that dichotomy is what we come to learn about her (via CBM).
However, the character will be fully developed in Justice League. Furthermore, her inspiration was Superman’s self-sacrifice for the sake of mankind:
And in Justice League, she's fully evolved into someone who's embraced mankind, partly through Superman's sacrifice. She's like, “All right, I've got to pick it up.”
As far as we’re concerned, Justice League seems to be shaping up pretty nicely in regard to character depth. It remains to be seen how the movie will actually be.
