While it can't be said that the Warner Bros. DC animations are as good as they used to be, they do come up with interesting stories sometimes. The already-released Justice League Dark is one of these movies. Of course, as many have said before, it appears that Warner Bros. cannot make a movie or an animation without the Batman, and the Dark Knight does have a central role in Justice League Dark.
Since the movie has been released digitally, Warner Bros. decided to release the first six minutes or so. We don't actually see the Justice League Dark in action, but the Justice League is confronted with all sorts of strange crimes. As Superman says, they’re committed by law-abiding citizens, normal people who believe they see demons everywhere in the city.
With magic at play, what can the Justice League do? A circumspect Batman, the one hero capable of combating this threat, is led to Constantine. With the help of Zatanna, Deadman, Etrigan the Demon, and Swamp Thing, Batman and Constantine are able to discover who is behind it all.

Of course, many say that this movie shouldn't have been made. And again, after the New 52, the DC animations can’t hold a candle to the previous ones. Nonetheless, the introduction of Justice League Dark (with Justice League appearing in what could be called an extended cameo) is a change of pace that’s more than welcome.
Plus, if you were a fan of the short-lived – but well-received - Constantine TV show, Justice League Dark features Matt Ryan voicing Constantine.
At this point, we hope that Warner Bros. will indeed fast-track the Justice League Dark movie to the big screen.
The Justice League Dark animated film is currently available for digital download. It will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on the 7th of February.
