This year, Batman and Superman had a very serious disagreement, only because neither of them was willing to listen to the other. Let's face it, it could have all been resolved with a simple conversation, just as all things can be between adults. But it was for the better, since the disagreement resulted in one of the most amazing fights between superheroes ever (the other being the confrontation between Iron Man and Captain America).
So, is everything settled between DC's heaviest of all hitters? Not at all. And it appears that death hasn't made Clark Kent any smarter. During an interview with Total Film, Henry Cavill revealed that there will be an argument over who the actual leader of the Justice League should be.
Until now, we’ve all assumed that Batman is that leader - after all, he is the one who’s uniting everybody. After all, he is the actual tactician of the team (whereas Superman still has a lot to learn, as we saw in the finales of both Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice). Sure, he is the weakest of the lot - but that doesn't really count, does it?
Of course, they won't fight again. Instead, we’re left to assume that there will be a bit of bickering between the two heroes. Which might or might not be good. As far as we’re concerned, maybe Zack Snyder should stay away - after all, Marvel has done this to death (arguments between superheroes) in all of its movies.
Anyway, if these two argue again, maybe the director will find a different way to settle their disagreement. We don't know about you, but we can’t stand the thought of another Martha scene in the DCEU.
Justice League will be released on the 17th of November 2017.
