Recently, we learned that a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer has been classified. Now, we might have a clue to exactly when it's coming! Good Morning America is set to host a GIANT EVENT in honor of the Zack Snyder flick on Monday, February 15, in New York City, reports Comic Book Movie. Tickets for the special event are already sold out.
The website could not offer further details on the ABC talk show's special event. So we aren't sure whether the movie’s stars or director will attend the event. But the last time that Ben Affleck appeared on GMA, we did get an alternate version of the last Batman v Superman trailer. So, we can pretty much assume that the recently classified trailer would also arrive with the show.
Batman v Superman release date for China revealed!
Chinese fans of superhero movies might have been a bit disappointed at the news that the Deadpool movie won't be released in their part of the world. But the good news for them is that Batman v Superman will definitely release in China, opening on the SAME DATE as it does in the USA! Comic Book confirms that the Warner Bros. venture will hit the theaters in Hollywood's second largest market on March 25, as well.
The last two DC movies - The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel - did gross a fair amount at the Chinese box office – $54.6 million and $63.4 million. But the last two Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks did amazingly well in the territory - Avengers: Age of Ultron bagged $241 million, while a lesser known superhero like Ant-Man grossed more than $100 million. DC/Warner Bros. would definitely be looking at a $150-$241 million gross from China for Batman v Superman, if not more.
