Ezra Miller Explains How the Poor Suicide Squad Reviews Influence the Justice League Cast!

Ezra Miller explains how the negative reviews for Suicide Squad have motivated the Justice League cast!

The atrocious reviews for Suicide Squad may not have succeeded in nullifying the movie's box office potential until now, but they did have some interesting effects somewhere else. According to Ezra Miller, it's the Justice League cast members who have been influenced by the reviews!

The actor – who has already made a couple of cameo appearances as Barry Allan, aka The Flash, this year – reveals in a recent interview with MTV that the David Ayer flick's critical pummelling has only motivated the cast for Zack Snyder's November 17, 2017 release to deliver something that both fans and critics will enjoy. He explains:

You needn't look any further than the Suicide Squad director and cast response to the negative reviews to feel how negative critiques motivate us. Ultimately, we can't base anything on [the critical response]. As artists, we aim to please absolutely everybody with our work, but we also know that we have to keep expressing ourselves as best as we can express ourselves.

Ezra goes on to direct the Suicide Squad haters to a particular track from T.I.'s third album, Urban Legend. Which track is he referring to? It's titled Motivation. If you are not familiar with the song, you may find it worth checking out below!

David Ayer recently revealed that Zack Snyder had directed a scene for Suicide Squad. It was the one in which The Flash appears to chase down Jai Courtney's Boomerang. However, Ezra Miller clarifies during the interview that it was actually a much more collaborative process. According to the actor:

Saying that Zack [Snyder] shot it would not be accurate. It was very much a collaborative effort that was supervised by DC. It was collaborative with David [Ayer].

Ezra is busy right now filming for Justice League in London, and it appears that he won't get a break for too long after they wrap up. He is reportedly returning to the same location for The Flash movie's production in January 2017.

Do you think Ezra Miller and his Justice League co-stars can deliver a movie that brings an end to this ongoing feud between the DC Extended Universe and the critics?
