Wonder Woman rolls into theaters in less than a month, and the first clip from the movie appeared online after Chris Pine unveiled it on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
The clip will look familiar to anyone who’s seen the trailers and TV spots for the upcoming Patty Jenkins movie. In it, Pine's Steve Trevor and Gal Gadot's Diana Prince are held at gunpoint in an alley by some goons demanding "Doctor Maru's notebook".
Trevor, a military aviation officer, tries to take them down on his own, but he quickly finds that he needs Diana's assistance. She conveniently blocks some bullets with her Bracelets of Submission before she and Trevor flatten the bad guys. Check out the clip below!
This isn't the first time we’ve heard about Dr. Maru's notebook. It was previously revealed that it contains evidence of Doctor Poison/Dr. Maru (Elena Anaya)and General Erich Ludendorff’s (Danny Houston) evil plan to release a cloud of poison on innocent European citizens. In the clip, Pine's character has the notebook, and the supervillains want it.
In addition to this clip, Warner Bros. also released a TV spot and a poster to promote the movie, and the cover of the latest issue of Cinema Teaser magazine features the Amazon Warrior Princess. Check them out below!
