There is no doubt about the arrival of Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke, in the DC Extended Universe, and the fact that Joe Manganiello will be portraying the character. But are we sure about when we will see him for the first time? No, not exactly.
While some reports suggest that the deadly assassin and mercenary will be introduced in next year's Justice League before returning as the big baddie in the untitled Batman standalone movie, there are some other reports that claim he won't appear in the November 17, 2017 release.
But it seems like Zack Snyder has unintentionally confirmed the appearance of Deathstroke in Justice League (he might have actually done it intentionally, considering the slyness he has shown in placing Easter eggs in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice). The director has shared a photo via his official Twitter account featuring himself wearing a Batman gauntlet on his right hand and staring at a storyboard. He has used "#JusticeLeague #Cosplay" as the caption for the tweet. You can check it out below!
Twitter account @TheDCEU quickly posted a version of the photo after using some "photoshop and enhancements", which reveals what is exactly on the storyboard. Here's the photo for you!
It appears to be a scene featuring Deathstroke and Lex Luthor. While we can say that Joe Manganiello's character is in it because one character clearly has an eye-patch and two swords on his back, the other seems to be Jesse Eisenberg's character for one particular reason"¦he's bald! Someone did shave his head again recently!
Many are speculating that this is a scene in Justice League in which Luthor meets Deathstroke to hire him to take down Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader or, perhaps, the entire team.
