And that is the visual style and the general feel of the movies. If Man of Steel is indeed the cornerstone of the DC Movie Universe, then it is pretty clear that DC will be completely different than anything Marvel has presented until now.
Even if it was the first film in this continuity, DC didn’t play it safe and got its hands dirty. Sure enough, this has raised a lot of criticism from both the fans and the non-fans. However, this comes to show that DC has what it takes in order to become something else. This comes to show that DC and Warner Bros do have a plan and they will stick to it.
Sure enough, it can be expected for some rescheduling to appear even in this first phase, if we may call it so (with several rumored movies, such as Guillermo del Toro’s Justice League Dark). But still, this doesn’t mean that the plan isn’t there.
