A fresh start and a new take on the genre

By now, it can be said that Marvel is showing signs of slowing its pace. Don't just jump to point out that it isn't! Slowing the pace doesn't necessarily mean that its stories aren't compelling or that the quality of the storytelling has decreased (although this is debatable).
It means, instead, that Marvel has started its shared universe building on the idea that technology can explain all. Thus, the magical element has yet to appear and we are wondering how Doctor Strange will tackle this conundrum.
Furthermore, and we believe that everybody has noticed this, building the MCU and introducing important players always relies on origin stories. And this tends to become a bit dull from one point on, especially if we are considering what was said in the above paragraph.
DC has a completely different agenda. For the moment, of course, we've only had a single origin story "“ the one of Superman. And since the next movie will bring the DC Trinity on the big screens, we doubt that we will see another origin story, any time soon.
It can be argued that Wonder Woman will have hers "“ although we are doubting this, even if the 2017 film will take place during WWII. But as far as Cyborg, Flash, Aquaman and Green Lantern are concerned, they will definitely jump in the action without wasting a couple of hours to tell us how they become the superheroes they are.
We're saying that because these DC characters will have their solo films only after Justice League Part One will be released.
And there is also another important element, pertaining to the novelty of the DC Movie Universe. And that is the fact that this new universe can be explained by other means than just the scientific/technological ones. Enchantress is set to appear in Suicide Squad and, as far as we know, her comic book origins will be kept.
