Common’s Character In Suicide Squad Revealed By Leaked Pictures

Common is no stranger to the superhero movie industry: he almost jumped in the bandwagon when he was offered to play Green Lantern in George Miller's Justice League Mortal.

As you know, the movie never happened. We speculated here that he could still be considered for the part if the Justice League Part One were to include Green Lantern (John Stewart).

It seems Common will indeed make it to the big screen as a comic book-inspired character, but it's definitely not going to be Green Lantern. A new set of pictured leaked from the set of Suicide Squad reveal his character.

Common - Bronze Tiger or Tattooed Man?

Sure, Bronze Tiger would be anyone's first pick: the character is part of the Suicide Squad lore in the comics, and he is in fact - if not downright central - quite important to the team.

But the crazy notion that Common could play Tattooed Man also popped up. Tattooed Man is a sort of Justice League enemy, being one of the archenemies of Green Lantern. No direct connection to Suicide Squad, however, in the comics.

And the only argument that could support the theory Common is playing Tattooed Man is the fact he is, well, tattooed! Is that solid enough to infer the rapper turned actor will portray this particular character in Suicide Squad?

Mostly that the Bronze Tiger theory is much more plausible? In fact, it's obvious! What say you?
