With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice nearing its release, you might forget for just a moment that there's an equally promising DC movie scheduled for release later this year. It's David Ayer's Suicide Squad! The third DC Extended Universe installment is a story based on a band of supervillains but also features Ben Affleck's Batman.
Perhaps, for his involvement with Suicide Squad, Ben has already had the opportunity to watch an early cut of the movie. Yes, the 43-year-old actor revealed in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly that he has watched the August 5 release! Here's what he said:
I've seen Suicide Squad, and I can tell you that movie really works. That movie is really, really cool and fun and awesome.
Well, David Ayer is one of the finest directors in Hollywood at present, and his cast roster is loaded with a number of big names. And the first two trailers for the movie have impressed the lion’s share of fans. So, it seems unlikely that Ben Affleck exaggerated in his concise review.
Jared Leto claims he did interact with Suicide Squad co-stars, but"¦!
Jared Leto's Suicide Squad co-stars have been revealing hard-to-swallow stories of The Joker actor behaving weirdly on the set. Apart from shooting and sending gifts like a live rat to his cast mates, the actor used to keep his distance from them.
But in a recent interview with DCEU Facts (via Movie Web), Leto claims that he did interact with his co-stars. However, that interaction was through the eyes of the Clown Prince of Crime! The Academy Award winning actor stated:
I did interact, but I did it through the eyes of the Joker, which is really fun. It was fun to play that game. It was interesting to take on this challenge. It was unlike anything I’ve ever done before.

Even though Superman is referenced in the Comic Con trailer of Suicide Squad, Henry Cavill confirms that his character won't appear in the movie. However, he doesn't know whether he would appear in next year's Wonder Woman. Here's what he said in a recent interview with Superinteressante (via Comic Book):
Not in Suicide Squad. In Wonder Woman I haven't heard anything yet, but watch that space. And in anything else, I don't know just yet if anything else gets shot between.
