While people believed that the final Batman v Superman trailer would be released on February 15, Warner Bros. thought differently. The final trailer has just been uploaded on the Internet, and it looks epic. It has so much action that we even fear the entire movie might be just about that, with just a couple of moments for us to take a breath.
The most interesting thing about this final Batman v Superman clip is that it resembles (in its tone) the previous trailer, without being so bad. Which is a good thing. However, at times, it does feel a bit like a computer game, too CGI-ish. But you can judge that for yourself - check it out below!
So what did we get with this new clip? Plenty of new footage, we say. Not only it is confirmed that Bruce Wayne has no idea who Diana Prince is, but we also see how this new Batman fights - very, very, brutal. The kick-a-guy-so-hard-he-puts-his-head-through-the-floor kind of brutal.
And we guess that you’ve recognized that particular scene, which seems to have been taken straight out of the comics. Which ones? Obviously, from The Dark Knight Returns, when the Caped Crusader finally comes back from his retirement.
And this is, probably, what most of the fans wanted - assurance that Ben Affleck will kick ass in Batman v Superman. This final trailer is all about that, being focused mainly on this character. And it actually manages to wash away the aftertaste of the previous trailer.
What else can be said? Not too much, at the moment, though we will be back with a review of the clip. On the spur of the moment, we can say that Superman could indeed kill Batman if he wanted to (there is a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene in this trailer, in which he effortlessly pushed away the Dark Knight). Also, how in the world can that mechanical suit counter a blow for the Man of Steel?
