Although Batman v Superman has been attacked from all directions over the past couple of weeks, those who have already seen it cannot stop praising it. Entertainment Weekly is no different, and their latest issue is focused on this particular movie. And, while we might doubt Henry Cavill, who said that Batman v Superman is epic, thrilling, and visually spectacular (well, he is one of the stars), we have no reason to disbelieve EW’s review.
Of course, it hadn’t been released just yet, the review. However, Anthony Breznican noted that Batman v Superman is all that the fans wanted - and then some (at least, this is what we understand of it):
Nobody in this film is pulling any punches…Beneath the action set pieces is an intricate tale of hidden agendas, psychological turmoil, and even some complex theological questions – plus a lot of smashing.

It definitely sounds good. As EW reports, the film can clearly be divided into two parts - the first being Batman and Superman, and the second being Dawn of Justice. The latter also serves as an origin story for Lex Luthor. Check out the Tweet below!
I gotta go write, but last things I’ll say about seeing #BatmanvSuperman. (Personally, I was happy.) pic.twitter.com/tAkmYVDJti

Besides the tease of the review, EW also gives some details about Lex Luthor, reporting that the villain…
…orchestrates a mass murder aimed at turning the two heavy hitters against each other but also uses some Kryptonian relics left behind from the Man of Steel aftermath to cook up a cosmic mutant Frankenstein – Doomsday, partially built from the remains of Michael Shannon's General Zod.
We can't wait to see it!!!
And, apparently, neither can anybody else! The tracking now suggests that Batman v Superman will open in the US with more than $140 million over the first weekend. This means that it will make about $340 million worldwide. And that is way better than what the naysayers have suggested. Will you be there?
Batman v Superman opens in 22 days!
Also, stay tuned - EW promises some further reveals in the coming days (Aquaman, Flash, Cyborg)!
