Superman Is A Paradigm Shift For Batman!

The Caped Crusader has always been depicted to have a willingness to cross the line in order to protect people. And that mentality of Batman is what, according to Ben Affleck, Snyder and his team is tapping into in Batman V Superman when he comes across a potentially deadly individual like Henry Cavill’s character. Ben also added:

“We want to assume that Batman has reached this point in his life and career as a superhero, and Superman represents a sort of philosophical change. He is a paradigm shift for Batman: ‘I’ve been fighting criminals all my life, trying to find justice, and now I am confronted with a concept that is transcendent to me.’ In the face of Superman, a man robbing a bank doesn’t matter.”

Well, I suppose that’s a clear enough answer to the question why Batman has got problems with Man of Steel in the movie!
