We all know how the initial reaction of the fans was when Ben Affleck was announced as the new Batman for the second installment of DC Cinematic Universe – Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Well, if you don't know what happened, let me tell you that it was horrifying for both Affleck and Warner Bros. Fans went furious and even a petition was made to Warner Bros to remove the actor from the role.
However, things got better eventually for Affleck and Warner Bros and now at least there is a fair share of fans who have accepted him as the new Caped Crusader - at least they are going to keep their mouth shut until next year when Batman V Superman releases!
How did the actor feel when he was offered the role of Batman? What was his initial reaction? In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ben Affleck shared what came out of his mouth right away after hearing the proposal, and it… (Continued to Page 2)

"My first reaction was, "˜Are you sure?'. At the time I was 40, 41, and had just finished Argo, and I felt like "˜This seems like a strange way to get to Batman.' But Zack convinced me."
Bruce Wayne - Playboy Despite The Age!
We know that Batman of DC Cinematic Universe is older than he was presented in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy or any other previous adaptations. However, his alter-ego - Bruce Wayne – hasn't given up the playboy image yet, suggests Ben Affleck. He states:
"He really keeps up the image of the playboy, actively. So you have more of a dichotomy which I thought was really fun, and a little sad, like the aging playboy."
This might clarify why Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince - the alter-ego …(Continued to Page 3)

Ben Affleck To Direct A Batman Solo?
Few days back, we heard a rumor that Ben Affleck might be directing a Batman solo movie. Even though he hasn't talked about it specifically, there is an indication that he provides that might lead you to think the possibilities are higher now! Check out the actor's statement:
"I thought if I was going to direct a movie like this, which I would like to do at some point, I need to have something of a refresher course of how these movies are done."
Doesn't that suggest that Ben Affleck would grab an offer to helm the movie right away, if it comes his way? Do share your thoughts via comments!
