Black Panther 2 Reportedly Conducting Reshoots Just Two Months Before Release

It has been claimed that reshoots for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever are now taking place barely two months before the film’s scheduled release date.

According to a tweet posted by Cosmic Circus, filmmaker Ryan Coogler is scheduled to take charge of a number of reshoots that will take place in Georgia during the week of September 7. It is unusual for a movie to go through reshoots so close to the date that it is scheduled to be released, but some moviegoers believe that the production crew is currently filming additional post-credit scenes. Several fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have expressed their desire for a post-credit scene featuring a different version of T’Challa by use the hashtag #RecastTChalla in the comment area.

After the first Black Panther film became one of Marvel’s most successful movies ever, grossing over one billion dollars at the box office and receiving a Best Picture nomination at the 91st Academy Awards, Marvel Studios brought back acclaimed director Ryan Coogler for the sequel. This decision was made after the first Black Panther film became one of Marvel’s most successful movies ever. After the untimely death of lead actor Chadwick Boseman in the year 2020, however, writing and directing the sequel was not a simple matter to undertake. Lupita Nyong’o, who also starred in the film and worked with Boseman, claims that the director, Ryan Coogler, reworked the sequel in a way that pays tribute to Boseman. She claims that this was done because Coogler “feels the loss in a very, very real way.”

The impending sequel to the critically acclaimed picture from 2018 is shrouded in mystery in comparison to the vast majority of other Marvel films. On the other hand, according to the narrative that came out not long after the presentation of the emotionally-charged trailer, the country of Wakanda is going to be thrust into the most difficult conflict it has ever faced. The plot will take place after King T’Challa has passed away, and it will feature recognizable characters such as Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) fighting against Namor (Tenoch Huerta), the ruler of an unknown undersea empire.

Letitia Wright, who many people believe will be the next Black Panther, recently gave an interview in which she discussed Shuri’s reaction to the news that T’Challa had died in the next sequel. According to Wright, “the death of her brother drives her to be so involved with her work that she is working at another level, at a higher level in fact.” “Therefore, there is a great deal of exciting new technology to look forward to, and I believe that this is where she finds her niche at the moment. Something along the lines of “How do I process this?” In addition to this, she channels all of her energy, perhaps more so, into technological endeavors. Therefore, there are a lot of fascinating new things that you should keep an eye out for.”
