Ever since the year 2000, Hugh Jackman and Wolverine could not be separated! The Aussie actor has played the role in six different flicks of the X-Men Universe and the seventh one – Wolverine 3 of March 3, 2017 – is set to be his final performance as the mutant with claws.
It has been quite a long since we first got the confirmation from Hugh Jackman and he has re-confirmed that Wolverine 3 is indeed his ONE LAST TIME a number of times since then. And he has uttered that again to Toronto Sun. Here’s what Jackman said:
“It is my last Wolverine. It feels like the right time and time to go.â€
Few days back, the 46-year-old actor expressed his opinion on who he wants to see as the next Wolverine – the name he proposed was of Mad Max: Fury Road star Tom Hardy. We got the below fan art just afterwards.

But from his more recent comment to Canadian new website, it seems like 20th Century Fox would be looking for a younger actor than Tom Hardy while recasting the character. Hugh Jackman states:
“It will be interesting to see a younger version of Wolverine, because I was already 30 when I took it on.â€
Well, doesn’t that indicate the next Wolverine would be less than thirty years old? Someone who hasn’t crossed 30? Well, Tom Hardy is already 38!
On the next page – more from Hugh Jackman on Wolverine height issue and a fan art that shows how the Wolverine 3 poster would possibly look like!
