Jackman Recalls Wolverine Height Issue!
Whatever be the age of the actor who comes up as the recast for the role, he is surely not going to as tall as Hugh Jackman! The actor is around 30cm taller than his character "“ while his height is 1.89m, Wolverine as depicted in the comic books is around 1.60m tall. Here's what the actor recalled about his height issue in initial days:
"I was in (then-Fox Entertainment CEO) Bill Mechanic's office, and they were having a kind of final meeting where they talked about my height. It was me standing in ditches, shoes off, people on planks and boxes standing next to me. They're all very, very nervous about that. But, by the second movie, no one cared."
