The Marvel Rivals Season 4 Trailer Is Here, Watch It Right Now

Marvel Rivals: The Heart of the Dragon - Marvel Games

A new trailer for Marvel Rivals season 4 is here. Marvel and NetEase Games have unveiled a new look at the new season, named Heart of the Dragon. The free-to-play, PvP game dropped last year and has become increasingly popular since its debut. This latest chapter brings with it new heroes and new villains for players to enjoy. Check it out.

Heart of the Dragon kicks off on September 12. The new season will introduce Angela as a playable hero along with a new Convergence Mode map set in K’un-Lun: Heart of Heaven. New features, modes, special events, quality-of-life updates and Team-Ups are also promised.

Here is the synopsis for The Heart of the Dragon.

“The Timestream Entanglement has drawn the Seven Capitals together, forming the Heart of Heaven. After Knull’s fall, Hela is imprisoned in the An’Hay-Zhidi, where Dizang—Devil of the Eighth City—dares her to atone for her sins. But Angela will not forgive her betrayal. She arrives in the Heart of Heaven demanding Hela be handed over, yet its guardian refuses to surrender someone under his protection. Justice will be served and a debt will be paid.

But while they fight, an even greater danger stirs. Doctor Doom seeks to steal the Chronal Chi of the slumbering dragon Shou-Lao, threatening to unravel the fate of the Heavens themselves.”

The game will also be introducing Free Fight, a mode with no restrictions on duplicate heroes. A Conquest (Annihilation) mode is also coming, where players rack up points with KOs. Additionally, Conquest, Doom Match, Conquest (Annihilation), Free Fight, Giant-Size Brain Blast and Clone Rumble will all be accessible from a single Arcade Mode hub. Players can queue for one mode or several at once, making it easier to jump in and play. Players will also have access to a Favorites Bar. This allows players to pin their most-played heroes and quickly find them.

Elsewhere in the world of Marvel games, EA recently canceled the long-in-development Black Panther game. Several other titles, including Iron Man, Blade and Wolverine, remain in development. However, all of those have gone quite some time without any significant developments to speak of. Wolverine could arrive next year though its release date has yet to be confirmed. The others are probably still years away.  Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra was originally scheduled for 2025 but was bumped to 2026

Marvel Rivals is available now on console and PC.
