Deadpool 2 Teaser Trailer Officially Released

You may have heard that Logan was accompanied by a teaser trailer (or something like that) for Deadpool 2, which will arrive soon (although not soon enough). The clip was leaked online – in low resolution and with comments from the audience – as soon as the rumors started to fly.

Well, if you missed that version, don’t worry, because Ryan Reynolds has officially released the clip on Twitter. You can still check out  the low resolution version below. Furthermore, it also contains the Stan Lee cameo.

Stan Lee

So check it out below:

As you can see, it contains quite a few Easter-Eggs, from the Logan poster to the Cable reference to the Firefly posters.

To the rescue…?

Even the credits, a synopsis of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea, constitute a reference. Obviously, Deadpool himself composed the synopsis, including specific commentary (For example, the Old Man actually dated the Marlin, like in a romantic comedy).

Rumor had it that the Stan Lee cameo would have the legendary Marvel creator confuse Ryan Reynolds with Ryan Gosling. Evidently, that rumor was false. But who knows? Maybe this scene has been saved for Deadpool 2, although we doubt that.

Not soon enough…

And here’s something else from the same shared universe (but, really, given his fourth wall-breaking abilities, everything is connected to Deadpool): The audition that landed Hugh Jackman the Wolverine role.
