Deadpool 2: Brolin’s Cable Haircut

Twentieth Century Fox floored us a couple of months ago by announcing that Josh Brolin would star as Cable in Deadpool 2. Of course, the actor had appeared on any number of fan-casting lists for this role, but nobody actually believed that he'd sign on for it, mainly because he was already playing Thanos, the most feared villain in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Brolin had some steep competition for the role of Cable, including Michael Shannon (Zod in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel), and Brad Pitt. Apparently, he won the role because Pitt dropped out. By the way, we’ve seen the concept art depicting Pitt as Cable, and we believe this was a missed opportunity.

In any event, Josh Brolin is now filming Avengers: Infinity War. During his breaks, he teases fans with his role in the X-Men shared universe.

Last month, for example, he posted a pic on Instagram that shows him in training for the role (don’t forget to read the hashtags).

And now, the actor’s posted a new pic. For this one, it wasn’t necessary for him to even mention Cable, because his haircut spoke volumes:

It does resemble this Brad Pitt concept art piece, doesn't it?
