Marvel's Daredevil launched on Netflix less than a month ago, and within this tiny duration of time, the series has proved to be the best Marvel venture on small-screen. And a handsome portion of fans urge that it is the best comic-book show on television! The immense success of the Netflix series has already earned it a second season confirmation.

But now it seems like the Daredevil titular role cast Charlie Cox is dreaming something bigger than that! In a recent interview with MTV News, the actor expresses his desire to share screens with the hot new arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Spider-man!

Few weeks back, Daredevil's The Kingpin cast Vincent D'Onofrio stated that he would love to "˜kick Spider-man's butt'! However, Charlie doesn't want any kind of a face-off with the web-slinger; rather he has a particular story arc from the comic books that he wants to be adapted.

Which Spidey-Daredevil Story Arc?

Charlie seems to refer a particular story arc from Bob Gale's Daredevil Vol. 2 #25 which was published in December 2001. The actor states:

"I'd love to see Peter Parker and Daredevil hang out. There's a wonderful issue of the comics where Matt Murdock has to defend Daredevil, because the public don't know, and so he has Peter Parker put on his Daredevil outfit so that he can sit in the docks. You know, great storyline."

Cox Disappointed For Andrew Garfield!

The titular role cast of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise Andrew Garfield is a close pal and handball competitor of Charlie Cox. The fact that his friend isn't going to reprise the role in the MCU ventures makes the Daredevil star feel remorseful. However, he isn't going to let that deter his desire for a crossover with the new Spidey.
