Looks like Jon Kent has finally gotten his potential Catwoman as a result of Lazarus Pit events. This tie-in adventure proved to be fruitful for him.
As a superman, Jon Kent has evolved over the years, his role has been admirable. Having a young energetic hero take a fresh start on some of the superhero genre’s tired and true elements is a great evolution. This advancement led to him being known by the name,” a compelling love interest.” It might look like he has all the goodies in a bag but it has just started to get complicated.
While Jon Kent is busy dealing with some weird powers and saving lives in his story “Electric” from Lazarus Planet: Assault on Krypton #1 (by C.S. Pacat, Scott Godlewski, Alex Guimarães, and Andworld Design), there are more events waiting for him. He meets Ash on the way who is potential to become the young Superman’s version of Catwoman. She is a compelling addition to his supporting cast who could easily pull off this role.
How Superman Met His Catwoman
“Electric” is such a story that is based on Jon Kent’s continued attempts to protect the people and save their lives during the chaos of Lazarus Planet. Along the way, he meets Ash – an extremely charming man. Right in the middle of the chaos, Jon discovers there’s something about this person that has great sense of power. While struggling in the bombarding by supernatural energies of the Lazarus Volcano, Jon’s powers are affected badly, thus weakening him physically. But now that he has found Ash, he continues to become an ally for the rest of the part.
Ash manages to save Jon and the people as he has the ability to fly and lava powers to fight everything that comes on the way. Ash is a heroic gift for Jon as he fights plenty of criminals, whilst also keeping an eye on Superman. Later, Ash clears the air and informs that his powers were temporary and gets himself arrested. This looked like it was a definite change of hearts but it wasn’t. Ash broke out of prison as soon as Jon left.
How Jon Kent’s Life Could be Impacted by Ash
Jon’s familiar supporting cast has played a major role in making his story a success. Damian Wayne, his best friend maintaining and mirroring their fathers’ friendship; Jay Nakamura, Jon’s Lois Lane, his love interest, and an intrepid reporter capable of holding their own. Jon’s even gotten his own Lex Luthor in the form of Luis Rojas. Apart from this, ash came into the picture to add more layers as a Catwoman! Ash definitely has a sincere and noble side that can act as a compelling addition to the gang.
Having ash around Jon is also looking like a potential threat to Jon’s romance with Jay because of Ash’s flirty nature. This dramatic love trio could turn out to be dangerous, considering Jon’s past relationships with anybody. Thus, Ash’s entry is a definite way to add more layers to the story. Ash’s criminal background, a potential love interest and noble nature has the potential to add great drama to this Superman’s life.
