The world premiere of Captain America: Civil War will be taking place in Los Angeles in less than a week and Marvel has issued a press release for event. This press release features not only a list of special guests who would be attending the event, but also a list of actors and actresses who are in the movie. And this list reveals two names that weren't previously announced as cast members for Captain America: Civil War!
One of them the four times Primetime Emmy winner Alfre Woodard while the other is Academy Award winner Jim Rash. The list doesn't reveal what roles the two are playing in the upcoming May 6 release. Check out the screenshot of the press release below!

Since Marvel has officially confirmed Woodard as the cast for Mariah Dillard role in Marvel's Luke Cage, one would expect her to portray the same character in Civil War. Both Civil War and Luke Cage belong to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, Screen Crush claims that the 63-year-old actress isn't playing Mariah Dillard in the movie. According to their sources, her role in the Russo Brothers flick is a "small, but pivotal" one. In the beginning of the movie, Woodard is introduced as the mother of American national who was killed during the Battle of Sokovia in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The character has a scene in Civil War with Tony Stark and blames him for her son's death. This particular confrontation induces Robert Downey Jr.'s character to support the Sokovia Accords that would regulate The Avengers and other enhanced personages.
One actress playing two different roles in the same franchise seems a bit weird considering the reputation the Marvel Cinematic Universe has for making us feel that all its movies and television shows belong are a part of the same world. It would have made sense if one of the characters was a CGI-animated tree-like creature like Groot who only utters "I AM GROOT" and the other was an Inhuman like Black Bolt who doesn't speak at all because his voice can destroy planets!

As for Jim Rash, we don't have any rumors floating on what role he's playing in Captain America: Civil War. We can pretty much assume that he'll have a cameo in the movie just like his Community co-star Danny Pudi had in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
