Bullseye is now rumoured to be the main villain of Netflix's Daredevil series, after the incarceration of the awesome Kingpin.
So who should become Bullseye? We know that Jason Statham would have been a perfect pick, but he did say that he won't ever play in a superhero movie - probably because nobody would pay him as much as he wants for his awesome acting abilities"¦
Well, here are our choices!
Dougray Scott
As far as Bullseye is concerned, Dougray Scott has the perfect recognizable face for the character - without actually being a superstar. He is pretty much like both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio - you may recall seeing him in some movies, but you cannot just place them in any. He is that guy from"¦
Well, just to refresh the memory, he has been the main baddie in Mission Impossible 2, as well as one awesome character in Doctor Who. But he can be remembered mostly because he chose shooting MI2 instead of becoming Wolverine and because he was the second-runner for the role of James Bond after Pierce Brosnan's departure.
So maybe it is his time to shine!
Matthew Fox
Known for his role in Lost as well as for having his role cut out of World War Z, Matthew Fox is yet again another recognizable face, without any pretentions of superstardom.
But, if you want a truly memorable role from him, that is the villain Picasso from critically panned Alex Cross. Fox completely transformed for that role. In a movie with Tyler Perry, you have to be really good in order to make an awesome role.
So yes, Matthew Fox would be our second choice for the role of Bullseye. And seeing that the actor doesn't have too many projects scheduled for the next following years, he can definitely have the time to show his acting chops as Bullseye!
Jack Huston
Jack Huston may be the actor to portray Bullseye for the same reasons as the ones mentioned before. However, he is also the one to have appeared in the many well-received (or thereabout) movies, such as American Hustler and Kill Your Darlings. Furthermore, he has also impressed in Boardwalk Empire, while also scheduled to appear in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, as well as in Ben-Hur.
Christopher Meloni
Christopher Meloni is yet again that guy from"¦ which is what Daredevil needs for Bullseye: an assassin you believe you saw before, but you couldn't have.
Of course, in the case of Meloni, you did see him, most notably in Man of Steel (the colonel who saw death as its own reward), as well as in Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. Furthermore, he also voiced Hal Jordan in Green Lantern: First Flight.
So he does know his comic books and, until now, he may just be the perfect choice for Bullseye!
Wang Leehom
Who is this guy? Well, he is one who could definitely be as badass as Bullseye!
Wang Leehom doesn't have too many roles under his belt, but from this lot he is the one who can actually handle an intense choreographed action scene. For example, if you haven't seen Little Big Soldier, then you've missed one fine performance (he starred with Jackie Chan). Or, if you want to see his true acting chops, maybe you should check out Lost, Caution.
Sure, he also appeared in this year's panned Blackhat"¦ But still, he would make a fine Bullseye!
Timothy Olyphant - hitting the bullseye!
He is perfect - the right level of star power for a Netflix series, a background in action flicks (Hitman, Die Hard 4.0), a critically acclaimed TV series, which is drawing to an end (Justified), and the perfect smile for the role.
There is nothing else to say, except for the fact that he even looks like a bad guy! Even when playing a good character, he still has that something which makes him feared by all. So bring it!
Daredevil needs to cast any of these actors as Bullseye. And we'd love to see Timothy Olyphant scuffle with Charlie Cox!
