Production Timetables for Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, and Avengers 4

Among the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, and Black Panther have wrapped up production and Avengers: Infinity War is currently filming. Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel, and the untitled Avengers 4 have yet to get cameras rolling, but we do have start and wrap dates for each.

According to the Director’s Guild of America and Omega Underground, Ant-Man and the Wasp will move into production on July 6, 2017, which is exactly one year before it rolls into theaters. Filming is expected to continue under the working title “Cherry Blue” until November 30. Director Peyton Reed and original cast members Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Douglas, Michael Pena, T.I., and David Dastmalchian are all set to return for the sequel. The movie recently added a “key” new character and signed Killjoys star Hannah John-Kamen to portray her.

As late as March, Captain Marvel hadn’t yet found its directors, and My Entertainment World reported that filming would begin on January 8, 2018. DGA and Omega Underground have confirmed that date, adding that it will conclude on May 11. The working title of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s March 8, 2019 release is “Warbird”, a reference one the numerous mantles bestowed on Carol Danvers since her Marvel Comics introduction 49 years ago.

Filming will continue until December 13 under the working title Mary Lou 2, and the movie will arrive in theaters on May 3, 2019.
