Ant-Man and the Wasp may be the first film to follow Infinity War, but its action takes place prior to Thanos’ fateful finger-snap. Nonetheless, the two movies may be linked. According to some long-standing rumors, Ant-Man and the Wasp will play a major role in the final Avengers installment.
But how major will that role be? We’re not sure, but the latest TV spot for Ant-Man and the Wasp also teases that the two movies are connected in some way. Ant-Man is a certified Avenger and he has seen the future! Granted, he saw it in dreams, but could a connection be established between his dreams and the Quantum Realm?

Then there’s that ominous voice that speaks about the end of the war and Ant-Man’s role in it. This drives home the idea that Ant-Man and the Wasp will indeed play an important role in Avengers 4.

At the end of a new featurette about the Wasp, Marvel President Kevin Feige underscores the importance of Ant-Man and the Wasp and directly connects it with Avengers 4. Plus, the two miniature superheroes will play a crucial role in the final battle against Thanos.
