Angel Dust and Colossus are, according to Hollywood Reporter, the latest additions to Tim Miller's upcoming Deadpool. The movie is set to come to theaters in less than one year (February 12th, 2016).
The fact Angel Dust and Colossus are, reportedly, going to join Marvel's Merc with a Mouth is nothing but good news, considering not much has been released so far about the production.
Well, except Ryan Reynolds's tweet which reveals parts of Deadpool's guise in the real-action movie from early 2016.
Gina Carano is Angel Dust
The said source specifies Angel Dust, also known as Christine, will be portrayed by Gina Carano. Furthermore, "it is unclear how she fits into the proceedings, but in the Marvel comics, the character was part of an underground mutant group known as The Morlocks".
Whether the movie pools from the comic book or will take a different direction, that remains to be seen. Let's remember the plot is, officially, unknown, so Carano's character could be slotted in in any number of ways.
Colossus also rumored for Deadpool
The undisclosed plot will, apparently, also accommodate the iconic Colossus. While Angel Dust and Colossus both are precious additions to the action, no speculations indicate who might play the reputed Russian mutant.
Also, the word goes Colossus might make a mere cameo, which means his role is virtually inconsequential.
Angel Dust and Colosus and"¦ T.J. Miller
T.J. Miller has been rumored for a while now to appear in Deadpool. However, his character is yet to be revealed. As THR puts it, "T.J. Miller is set to bring comedic relief to the movie in an undisclosed role".
We’ll have to see how Gina Carano squeezes Deadpool in her schedule, given she will join to Bruce Willis to star in the upcoming Extraction.
Stay tuned! We'll keep you posted with the most interesting news about Deadpool. Until then, let us know what you think about Angel Dust and Colossus being worked out in Miller's production.
