The first reactions to Avengers: Endgame have arrived on Twitter, and they point towards the movie exceeding all expectations.
While we are going to have to wait for a few more days to watch Avengers: Endgame on big-screen, some critics were lucky enough to have already watched it at the movie's world premiere last night in Los Angeles. Marvel Studios has yet to lift the embargo on the highly-anticipated movie's full reviews, but it has allowed the critics to share their much-shorter, spoiler-free social media reactions.
And these reactions make it clear that the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe installment is far from a disappointment. In fact, some are of the same mind that it is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made. It's a tearjerker, as one would expect from a culmination of no less than 22 interconnected films released over the course of a decade. But the movie doesn't lack humor or action either.
According to one critic, most of the footage that we saw in the trailers and TV spots belong to the first 15 minutes of Avengers: Endgame's theatrical cut. So, there are tons of surprises in store for us in the movie that runs for over three hours. If another critic is to be believed, the six original Avengers are the standouts.
