Titans: New Shots of Robin, Plus an Official Synopsis!

Three new shots of Brenton Thwaites' Robin and an official synopsis for Titans have arrived!

We learned in August 2017 that Brenton Thwaites (Henry Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) had been cast as Dick Grayson in the DC Universe series Titans. We got our first look at the 28-year-old actor in character a few months later.

More recently, DC Entertainment posted new – arguably, much cooler – photos of a battle-worn, bruised Robin in his full superhero outfit. In addition, Thwaites took to Instagram to share a black-and-white behind-the-scenes shot to mark his final day on the show's set.

And here's the official Titans synopsis!

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth – a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness – get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and lovable Beast Boy. Together, they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

With all of its official photos of Robin, the Teen Titans marketing campaign indicates that he’ll be front and center in the upcoming live-action series.

Set photos of key characters Raven (Teagan Croft), Starfire (Anna Diop), and Beast Boy (Ryan Porter) were leaked some time ago, but DC Entertainment still hasn’t shared any official shots of those characters. The show’s set to debut later in 2018, so we can expect to see additional promotional materials in the near future.
