We have some new photos from the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp, one of which presents us with our first look at the villainous Ghost.
Recently, we showed you a set photo of Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, but to be honest, it wasn't a terribly intriguing photo. The character is a corporate villain, so it was basically Goggins in a shirt and tie. But Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) is a supervillain in a high-tech suit, so this first look is a little more exciting.
Noticias Geek TV shared the new set photo of Evangeline Lilly in her Wasp costume, along with a figure clad in white. Lilly just announced John-Kamen's arrival on the set via Twitter, so the person in white must be the British actress's stunt double. Check out the photo below!
Ghost was male in Marvel Comics, but Ant-Man and the Wasp is introducing a female version of the character. Even so, the costume appears to bear a striking resemblance to the one seen in the source material. In the photo, the stunt double isn't wearing head gear, but a hood is visible on the costume. We’re hoping to see a gas mask similar to the one in the comics.
In the comic books, the costume – often referred to as a battlesuit – enables the wearer and any object he touches to become invisible and intangible. Apparently, the Peyton Reed sequel will explore the invisibility trait, as other set photos shared by Atlanta Filming and HollywoodUpdateIndia" feature Wasp as she struggles against an imperceptible force. Here are the photos!
