While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be, obviously, about DC's most celebrated superheroes, it will include others, such as Wonder Woman, Aquaman and even Cyborg, in more minor roles. Obviously, the internet is riddled with rumors concerning these smaller roles - but among all these rumors one concerning Themyscira is most likely to be true.
Themyscira? What is that?
For those that don't know, Themyscira (also called Paradise Island) is Wonder Woman's homeland - an island where all the Amazonians have retreated, outside of the man's troubled world.
This rumor concerns Superman visiting the island, although it isn't known for what reason. And this rumor is based on a video released by local TV news station KOAT-7, video which can be seen below.
Why Themyscira and not some other place?
The video was shot a month ago. As you saw in it, the setting resembles the one of a temple, which is strikingly similar to the temples on Paradise Island. According to Tech Times, Henry Cavil as Superman is already there (in New Mexico), which means that something is about to happen.
Of course, given the fact that this is Paradise Island, this also means that Wonder Woman is already there - it isn't known why Clark Kent is there, but it can be said that he is visiting other superpowered beings in order to obtain their allegiance (after all, the movie is called Dawn of Justice).
What about Batman?
Ben Affleck's Batman was nowhere to be seen in New Mexico. This emphasizes the idea mentioned before, idea which says that only superpowered beings are found in Themyscira.
But, as said before, Wonder Woman will have just a minor role in the movie, which means that we will only get a taste of Themyscira, with the full flavor coming in 2017, when the solo Wonder Woman film is scheduled for release.
