If you haven't had enough of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (and we’re guessing that many of you have), the trailer for the ultimate cut of the movie has just been released. Obviously, since you’ve seen the movie in the theater, you might think that there is no new footage included in the clip. But you’ll be surprised, since it can be said that the trailer includes only new footage (especially for those who haven't seen the movie yet) - for example, the trailer for the Batman v Superman ultimate cut features the first footage with Jena Malone, who was heavily rumored to be playing a Batman sidekick - but that wasn't so.
The ultimate cut of Batman v Superman is longer - much longer - than the version shown in theaters. The theater version was 155 minutes, but the ultimate cut is 182 minutes long! For some, the best thing about it is that it will be rated R (for scenes of violent nature). For us, this is a chance to see a completed movie, one that does not suffer from amateurish editing.
So, without further ado, check out the trailer for the Batman v Superman ultimate cut:
In other news, Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns) has praised Ben Affleck's portrayal of the Dark Knight. He didn't say too much about the overall movie (given the poor reception it has had), but he did say that he was rooting for Batman. Was it because Ben Affleck portrayed him? It appears so: “I liked it; he's a good actor. I mean, he's obviously very, very close to this material, and plays it with great affection."
Frank Miller also offered his assistance, if required, when Ben Affleck and Warner Bros. announce the Batman solo flick.
