If you haven’t seen the first Jessica Jones trailer, then you don’t know what you’ve missed! The show promises to be Daredevil times 10 from just a couple of minutes of footage – if we pair that with the first reactions to the pilot, we cannot even express how excited we are for this new Netflix/Marvel collaboration.
What we can say is that Daredevil will seem light-weight when compared to this new show. According to the first synopsis for the entire show, Jessica Jones will present the titular character after she gave up on being a superheroine. According to showrunner Melissa Rosenberg, the character now has to deal with PTSD syndrome, while also being a private investigator and an alcoholic.
The first season of the show will also delve into the past of the titular character, revealing that she quit being a superheroine after an encounter with supervillain Zebediah Kilgrave, aka The Purple Man.
