Margot Robbie: New Harley Quinn Project

Margot Robbie made her DC Extended Universe debut in 2016 as Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn. Although the movie failed to meet fans’ expectations, Robbie stole the every scene. So it makes sense that Robbie is set to reprise her role in the planned Suicide Squad 2.

However, it was a surprise when the studio announced that the David Ayer-directed spin-off Gotham City Sirens would also feature Harley Quinn, along with Catwoman and Poison Ivy. But the surprises didn't stop there! The studio also revealed that it planned to produce a project about Harley Quinn and the Joker, who also had an origin story in the works.

So Warner Bros. has its hands full with Harley. We’re wondering how or when any of these movies will be made.

During a recent interview with MTV, Robbie revealed that she has yet another project in the works, on top of those we’ve already mentioned! The actress didn't provide any additional information, but she mentioned that she’d like to have other women join Harley to form a sort of girls’ gang:

I wanna see her with other women. I kept saying it while we were shooting Suicide Squad. I was like, “She needs her girlfriends. She needs other girls around her, because she loves that.” You've seen it in the comics. You've seen that she loves meeting people, any people, but she needs a little girl gang.

This sounds like Gotham City Sirens, doesn't it?

What do you think? How many Harley Quinn-related movies can Warner Bros. make? More importantly, how many will actually get the green light?
