In March, DC Comics will launch the next blockbuster after Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will probably set higher standards in the DC Cinematic Universe, and the following Justice League movies must meet them.

Ben Affleck has talked for EW about his perspective on the new Batman he portrays, and the future of the superhero in the Extended Universe. The EW printed version gave their readers a look inside the Batcave. For now we have a low-def photo, but we hope you enjoy it.

Dawn of Justice will introduce Batman and Wonderwoman, but we might see more of Justice League heroes like Aquaman, the Flash, and Cyborg. Ben Affleck talked about Batman and his relationship with the other members of Justice League, suggesting that Wayne is the one who should lead the League.

Dawn of Justice introduces a more humane Batman

"Batman represents human beings, mortal men. In a world of Flashes and Aquamen and Supermen, there needs to be that guy. It's interesting that he became the leader of the Justice League in the books - I'm not sure how that will play out here - but his humanity is also an asset," Affleck told EW.

The one who is usually leading hero teams is Superman, but the way Affleck described his version of Batman, we might see him in a leading position. He is more of a strategist, and his humanity could be a major factor in taking decisions.

Jeremy Irons (Alfred) has also given his opinion regarding the character he is portraying in comparison with past iterations.

"Alfred is a lot more hands on in our film that he has previously been. He's a bit of a grease monkey, and he's very involved in the decisions Bruce makes."
