The San Diego Comic Con revealed that the second season of Iron Fist is much closer than we previously thought. In this way, among many others, it was announced that it will release in September.

A first teaser for this second season was also presented with the occasion of the SDCC. And it made it clear that, in the absence of Daredevil, Iron Fist will be the new protector of the city. And the small teaser was met with enthusiasm by those in attendance, even if it didn't reveal anything.

But now a second clip was released and it features the titular superhero in one of his comic book costumes! And this is a scene featuring Danny Rand and Coleen Wing, with the former having flashbacks from his time in K'un Lun.

The flashbacks are of the fight between Rand and Davos, for the right to face Shou-Lao the Undying. So check out the new teaser below!

It was already revealed at the San Diego Comic Con who the main antagonist is. In this way, Typhoid Mary will be the big baddie. And she will be quite a force to be reckoned with - exclusive footage at the SDCC showed that she can easily defeat the Daughters of the Dragon.

However, there is something revealing in this new teaser. Is the fight between Danny and Davos taking place in the past? It is - and we already know that Danny prevails. However, even if Typhoid Mary is the main antagonist, Steel Serpent will most certainly return.

And given the way he feels about Danny Rand's betrayal, we can expect for him to challenge Rand again.

Iron Fist’s second season will be available to stream on Netflix on the 7th of September.

So what do you think? Will you binge watch it?
