If you have already watched all thirteen episodes of Marvel's Luke Cage, you must be wondering how long you might have to wait for the next Marvel series on Netflix, Marvel's Iron Fist. The good news is that you won't have to wait too long to see Danny Rand's standalone series!
Netflix has released a new fifteen-second-long teaser as a means of announcing the premiere date of the Iron Fist series. The opening season of the series is coming to the online streaming network on March 17, 2017. That is around five-and-a-half months from now.
While it isn't the shortest interval between two Marvel-Netflix shows, it isn’t the longest, either. We had to wait for more than seven months for Jessica Jones Season 1 after watching Daredevil Season 1. However, the shortest interval is between Jessica Jones and Daredevil Season 2 - four months and eight days.
The interval between Luke Cage and Iron Fist is shorter than that between the second season of Daredevil and Luke Cage, which was a little less than six-and-a-half months.
While we have seen Finn Jones as Danny Rand in the set photos and in the teaser trailer that was released during this year's San Diego Comic-Con International, we have now been offered the first official photo featuring the character. In the photo, Danny seems interested in using his fist and not his mouth against a baddie. You can check out the teaser and the photo below!
And here's the official synopsis for Iron Fist!
Fifteen years after being presumed dead in a plane crash, Danny Rand (Finn Jones) mysteriously returns to New York City, determined to reclaim his birthright and family company. However, when a long-destined enemy rises in New York, this living weapon is forced to choose between his family's legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist.
