The first trailer for Daredevil's second season has premiered - and it takes everything to a whole new level!
If at first it wasn't so certain, it’s pretty clear now. The main antagonist will be, this time, the Punisher, who shares a hidden connection with the Daredevil. Apparently, the actions of one of the heroes led to the assassination of Frank Castle's family. Apparently, the fact that Murdock isn't too keen on killing his enemies led to the creation of the Punisher.
And this is very interesting, since it shows continuity between the two seasons. And we can actually expect some figures from the past to make a comeback. Who, you ask? We don't know. But we will find out.

Pretty intense, right? Despite that, some people aren't sold on Jon Bernthal portraying the anti-hero. But the actor has had plenty of opportunities to make even the most unlikeable characters likeable (take Fury, for example, or even The Walking Dead). So yeah - we do trust him.
Some of the rumors say that the Punisher will end up in prison by the end of the season, being put in there by Daredevil himself. We don't completely agree. And that is because the final scene of the trailer reveals Elektra, who has been a villain more times than otherwise. So we believe that, in the end, the Punisher will be in prison, but not necessarily because of Murdock.
Instead, we expect to see who is behind Elektra - and we can bet that those are the real villains.
But we do understand why this first trailer is focused on the conflict between Daredevil and Punisher - the fans have been expecting this for quite a while. And that is why we are certain that the following trailer will feature some surprising reveals.
Daredevil - just one bad day from being the Punisher.
