The last onscreen adaptation of the Marvel Comic superhero Daredevil was a big failure. The 2003 Fox venture featuring Ben Affleck disappointed have had such negative impact on the fans that when Affleck was named the next Batman, they went outrageous and even brought alive a petition backed by more than 94 thousand people to drop him out of the movie!
A thirteen-episode-long television adaptation of Daredevil launches on this 10 April. In spite of the fact that the big screen adaptation was a complete disaster, fans are anticipating the small screen adaptation featuring Charlie Cox as the titular superhero. The only reason behind that is that the franchise isn't any longer under Fox. Marvel Studio is in charge of the series and Marvel's track record has been way too impressive than Fox in the comic book world.
Fans have seen leaked photos of Charlie Cox in action wearing a black suit, but not yet in the iconic red suit. But it has been confirmed that they will get to see him at some point definitely. Though we cannot show you the suit, we can indeed present to you what Cox had to say about it in a recent interview with E Online!
The Daredevil Suit's Pretty Tight!
The website's correspondent caught up The Theory of Everything star in the red carpet of the SAG Awards. When asked about his superhero suit, Cox, first up, came up with the words, "It's pretty tight, I'm not going to lie"! The actor revealed that it is impossible to change the costume in a phone box and by himself. It needs him four men and duration of around 45 minutes to get in or out of the suit!
The British actor, however, claimed that he didn't have to face the same quandary as other actors in superhero suit had while they had to respond to nature's call! Cox mentions that there are three zippers in the Daredevil suit and opening one of them would be enough in that case!
Going Commando In The Suit?
The most interesting part of the interview was when he was asked whether he is going commando in the Daredevil suit. The actor had "˜a very big smile' on his face before responding to the question with the answer, "That is the big question"! Does that mean a "˜YES'? Who knows? But it seems likely so as the actor seemed pretty cautious handling the answer! What do you guys think though?
