The first two seasons of The Flash featured a lot of iconic characters from the Scarlet Speedster's rogues gallery, including the Reverse Flash, Zoom, Captain Cold, Weather Wizard, and Gorilla Grodd, but they avoided using a fan-favorite super-baddie, the Mirror Master. But now, we can rest assured that they'll finally get to the supervillain in the upcoming season of the CW series.
CBR has given us confirmation from Warner Bros. Television that Mirror Master will indeed arrive in The Flash Season 3. And that's not all! The show has already cast an actor for the role. Grey Damon will portray the character in the series.
Grey is best known for his roles in television shows like Friday Night Lights, The Nine Lives of Chloe King, Star-Crossed, and Aquarius. He also appeared in the 2013 fantasy adventure flick Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and played a younger counterpart of Josh Brolin's character in Oldboy.
In The Flash Season 3, Grey Damon will portray the original Mirror Master (Sam Scudder) created by John Broome in 1959. The character will be introduced in the fourth episode, which is likely to air in late October or early November.
The website has also managed to get hold of an official description for The Flash Season 3's latest addition from Warner Bros. Television. Here's how they describe the character:
One of the Flash’s most infamous Rogues, Sam Scudder – aka Mirror Master – is a smooth criminal with a huge ego. Upon discovering that he now has the power to travel through any reflective surface, Scudder embarks on a massive crime spree to prove himself the greatest thief that Central City has ever seen.
According to That Hashtag Show, The Flash Season 3 is searching for two more actors to play villainous characters. One of them sounds like a gender-swapped version of Roscoe Dillon, aka the Top. The CW series will introduce Rosa Dillon. The other character is named Francis, who could be either Magenta or Thorn. Check out the video for details!
