Barry Allen & Patty Spivot To Get Close!

While talking to the same site, lead actor Grant Gustin revealed that a distance will be created between his Barry Allen and Candice Patton’s Irish West following the death of Rick Cosnett’s Eddie Thawne in the season finale of The Flash Season 1. While Iris will find herself getting closer to Danielle Panabaker’s Caitlin Snow, Barry won’t be feeling lonely either!

Recently we got the confirmation that Shantel VanSanten has joined the second season of the series as a police officer named Patty Spivot. And this new character is the one who will not allow Barry to feel lonely! Grant Gustin stated:

“They have a lot more in common than some of the other girls that Barry has had an attraction to. Barry will have a hard time as they get closer keeping his big secret from yet another person.”
