More Crossovers In The Flash Season 2!
Great news for the ones who loved Arrow/Flash crossovers last season as Andrew Kreisberg - executive producer of The Flash - confirms that more crossover events are going to happen in the upcoming season! The EP termed the Arrow/Flash spinoff series Legends of Tomorrow as "˜crossovers every week' since it has been created out of the fun of seeing the saviors of Starling City and Central City together. On the nature of future crossovers, here's what Kreisberg said (via Blastr):
"Throughout the year, there will be mini-crossovers, like when Felicity and Ray came over, or the great moment at the end of Arrow where we saw Carlos for one scene. The shows are linked. If there is a terrorist attacks in Central City, they are going to hear about it in Starling City. I think there was a concern that, sometimes, when you expand these things, they implode, but, instead, they seem to liven each other up."

Barry Allen & Patty Spivot To Get Close!
While talking to the same site, lead actor Grant Gustin revealed that a distance will be created between his Barry Allen and Candice Patton's Irish West following the death of Rick Cosnett's Eddie Thawne in the season finale of The Flash Season 1. While Iris will find herself getting closer to Danielle Panabaker's Caitlin Snow, Barry won't be feeling lonely either!
Recently we got the confirmation that Shantel VanSanten has joined the second season of the series as a police officer named Patty Spivot. And this new character is the one who will not allow Barry to feel lonely! Grant Gustin stated:
"They have a lot more in common than some of the other girls that Barry has had an attraction to. Barry will have a hard time as they get closer keeping his big secret from yet another person."
Hit 4 to learn what Andrew Kreisberg said about the baddies of The Flash Season 2!
More Baddies To Arrive At Central City!
The inaugural season of The Flash introduced a bunch of epic villains from the comics such as Gorilla Grodd, Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Trickster and Weather Wizard. And the upcoming season will introduce a bunch more, confirms Andrew Kreisberg. Here's what he said about the baddies in the second season of the series (via ScreenRant):
"There's definitely going to be more Rogues. We don't sit down and say how many characters do we dump into this? It's like: What can we do for the characters that we have? And when we bring somebody on, it's not just to bring a character on. It's to: how is that character coming in going to affect and change and help our characters grow?"
We already know that we'll get to see Caitlin Snow turn to Killer Frost and Michael Ironside will appear as the father of Captain Cold and Golden Glider in the upcoming season - so we already know of two new baddies. Who else might appear?

Team Flash Changes In Season 2!
The second season of the CW series isn't going to be the same for Barry and Team Flash - growth to a certain level will be visible. According to Andrew Kreisberg:
"Last year was sort of really about getting the band together, in a way, and Barry, his first initial steps into being The Flash. This year it's really like, "OK. Great. We're doing it now." What does that mean?"
The EP claimed one of the biggest things that they are dealing with in the upcoming season of the series is The Flash's gaining of public attention and popularity in Central City. He explained:
"The notion that [these people] live in a universe where people have superpowers, and there are evil people with superpowers, and you could be walking down the street and somebody could melt the building in front of you is not outlandish anymore. By the same token, they all know that there's a savior out there who has powers to fight them back. So watching Barry deal with the fact that he's becoming a little bit famous and he's not just the mysterious red streak is something that gets dealt with a lot in newer episodes."
