Oh, the chills! When the first pic of him was released, we didn't know what to make of it "“ the tats, the grill, the everything yelled Nooo!. Deranged? Give us a break"¦

However, now that we saw him, it does make sense. He is in no way the campy Jack Nicholson, nor the cold and calculated Heath Ledger (even if the voice does bear a resemblance). He is completely different, a true psychopath with a plan "“ which wasn't revealed yet (if it will ever be).

And, after seeing and hearing him, we actually don't have a problem any longer with his physical appearance. Everything that bothered us before doesn't distract us, but adds to his twisted persona. In this cinematic universe, this is what a deranged mind would do to itself.

We can speculate that he will appear in the movie just in flashbacks, just like we can believe the rumors saying that the Squad is sent after him. But it won't do any good, until further information is revealed.
