Suicide Squad Beats Batman V Superman!

David Ayer’s ‘Bad versus Evil’ is more popular than Zack Snyder’s ‘God versus Man’! Neither has been released, but it’s the comparison between the popularity of their Comic-Con trailers that urges such a statement. While the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer has managed around 35.88 million views (at the time of writing) on YouTube, the one of Suicide Squad has bagged more than 37.74 million views.

An interesting fact is that the trailer of Suicide Squad was officially launched two days after the launch of Batman v Superman trailer. It must be said that this is a comparison between the second official trailer of the Zack Snyder venture and the very first one of the David Ayer venture.

However, it is still surprising that a movie based on a team of supervillains has managed to move ahead of the one that presents the two most popular superheroes against each other. In my opinion, the debut of Harley Quinn and the return of The Joker in the cinematic universe have helped Suicide Squad in bagging around a couple of million more views than its forerunner.
