Arkham Knight Novel - Coming Right Up!

The Arkham Knight

Rocksteady Studios have hit the jackpot with their Arkham series, with the Batman: Arkham Knight ready to debut on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on the 2nd of June this year. And since the game has had such an overwhelming success, why not take everything further and make the cross into another medium?

No, we're not talking about movies (although the fans demanded this for quite some time). We are talking about the novelization of the Arkham Knight chapter by Marv Wolfman.

Arkham Knight written by whom?

Marvin Arthur “Marv” Wolfman is very well known among the avid comic book readers, since he is the one that actually created Marvel's Blade. But this isn't all, since the Arkham Knight writer also worked for DC comics, being the creator of The New Teen Titans (who will get their own TV show as seen in here), as well as being the one responsible for the Crisis on Infinite Earths.

So Arkham Knight will most likely be a success. Marv Wolfman says about its story that it is based solely on the game and that it is highly emotional. The story is so emotional that he even mistook the release date of the game in July, at the same time as his novel.

Plot details

As you might expect, given the secrecy surrounding the Arkham Knight novel (the author said that not even his dog knew what he was doing), there aren't too many plot details revealed as of yet.

However, since the story will follow the game, we can assume that the story will be set after the Arkham City episode, with the Joker now dead. This will give Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn the opportunity to take over the reins and finally kill the Batman. This isn't all, since Scarecrow has developed a new strain of the toxin and threatens to blow up the city at the same time.

The Arkham Knight

No, we don't know who he is - but we can bet that the game will Rock!!!
