Alexandra Daddario
Although this actress has starred more recently and has only big screen appearances scheduled for the future, she did made an impact (and a hot one it was) in True Detective - and Supergirl is one hot superheroine! So given her very successful role in the Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson drama series, it means that she is also interested in TV roles - as long as the script is right and the character is compelling"¦
Candice Accola
Candice Accola is Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries - but this isn't the only TV series in which she has appeared or actually starred. But as great as Caroline is in the aforementioned series, the actress should be in the highlight of her own TV series - and Supergirl might just be her role.
Candice Accola has the acting chops and she can pull it off as an action star. But the question is: will she leave The Vampire Diaries for Supergirl, a series that hasn't proven its worth yet?
Leven Rambin
Leven Rambin has just the right age for portraying Supergirl - and this isn't all, since she has quite a few big screen movies and TV series appearances under her belt. Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, One Tree Hill and Grey's Anatomy are just a few of these titles. So she can both act drama, as well as action sequences - and Supergirl might just be about these!
Claire Holt
Ever since her career began with H2O, Claire Holt has specialized in playing the part in television series - Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and (most recently) Aquarius are some of these series.
Claire Holt has proven herself as a reliable actress, whether she plays a secondary role or a lead one. So she could definitely be Supergirl.
Laura Vandervoort was Supergirl
Although she may be a little too old for the part, we cannot forget that Laura Vandervoort did a fine job as Supergirl in Smallville. Since then, she has appeared in TV series (V and Bitten), big screen movies (This Means War), as well as TV movies (Broken Trust and Coffee Shop). So Laura could come back and be Kara once again - but this time as the lead in her own series.
