James McAvoy

James McAvoy plays Charles Xavier, aka Professor X, in the X-Men Universe. He played the character in the last two movies and will reprise his role in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.

But Professor X isn’t the Scottish actor’s first comic book role. He’s played the protagonist, Wesley Gibson, in the 2008 movie Wanted, which is based on the limited comic book series of the same name.
